The NFL's Week 7 slate spanned Paris and ended Sunday night in Seattle, where the Seahawks dealt Kansas City its first loss of the season. The Chiefs' receivers combined for 39 yards on six receptions in the game.

Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold completed 20 of 28 passes for 257 yards and did not take a sack after being dropped five times in each of the previous two games. He threw an interception in the final seconds of the first half. That was his eighth interception across the past five games. He finished the first half having completed 13 of his first 17 attempts for 178 yards and a touchdown.

Kansas City played without receiver Rashee Rice, who sat out with a strained right hamstring, and Tyquan Thornton, who is on injured reserve after surgery for a dislocated left ankle. Chiefs receivers Xavier Worthy, Cyrus Allen, Justin Watson, Andrew Armstrong and Jalen Royals produced the 39 yards. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for 165 yards, his lowest output of the season, and has not thrown a touchdown in either of his past two games. Seattle's Kenneth Walker III, who entered the week leading the league with 665 rushing yards, was held to 36 yards on 14 carries.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba leads the NFL with 867 receiving yards and eight receiving touchdowns. According to ESPN Research, he is the first player in the Super Bowl era with at least 850 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in his team's first seven games. He had 129 receiving yards in the first half, the most in any half of his career. "Our backs were against the wall. How we came out here as a brotherhood and fought .. the resiliency of our team is something special, and we're going to keep going," Smith-Njigba said.

Other Week 7 results included Pittsburgh's 18 carries for 101 yards from Jaylen Warren in a win over New Orleans in the NFL's first game in France, Tampa Bay's win over Carolina, Minnesota's win over Indianapolis, Cincinnati's win at Baltimore, Denver's win at Arizona, the Lions' win over Green Bay, and the Rams' win at Las Vegas. The Raiders have lost four straight and are below .500 for the first time this season; they have allowed 30 or more points in four consecutive games.

The Chiefs play at Denver on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET. Seattle hosts Chicago on Nov. 2 at 8:15 p.m. ET. The trade deadline is Nov. 10.
