Bidding opened on November 5 for a 36-unit rental complex at 38 to 50 West Biddle Street. The property, known as Apartments on Biddle, consists of four-story buildings housing 35 residential units and one commercial space occupied by Pillion Tea. The complex includes 12 off-street parking spaces. Alex Cooper Auctioneers is managing the sale in cooperation with Justin Verner of Harbor Stone Advisors. Matthew Cooper serves as the auction agent for this specific lot. The initial bid stands at $2 million, and bidders must submit a $20,000 deposit. The online auction closes on November 10 at noon.

Two connected commercial buildings at 705 and 707 North Howard Street entered the market on the same day. The structures contain a combined 9,698 square feet of space zoned for commercial use. A parking area behind 707 North Howard Street accommodates six to seven vehicles. Carley Cooper is the designated auction agent for these properties. The opening bid is $200,000, with a required deposit of $10,000. Bidding for the Howard Street sites ends on November 10 at 11 a.m.

The Morton Street carriage houses represent the largest square footage in this group of auctions. The four structures at 1012, 1014, 1016, and 1018-1020 Morton Street contain 28,000 square feet of office and retail space. Six years ago, Baltimore's preservation commission approved plans to convert the rear portions of these buildings into approximately 64 residences. That project did not proceed. Paul Cooper is the auction agent for this lot. Bidding begins on November 7 and concludes on November 12 at 11 a.m. The opening bid is $1 million, and the deposit requirement is $20,000.

The final property in the series is a 4,750-square-foot building at 858 Tyson Street. The structure is currently unoccupied and requires renovation. Proposed uses include artist lofts, office space, a workshop, or a warehouse. The building sits on the block where filmmaker John Waters shot the final scene of the movie Pink Flamingos. Matthew Cooper is also the auction agent for this property. Bidding starts on November 11 and ends on November 16 at noon. The opening bid is $100,000, with a $5,000 deposit.

All four properties are being sold through online auctions conducted by Alex Cooper Auctioneers. Detailed listings and further information are available on the company's website.

The auction schedule spans two weeks, with the first two properties closing on November 10 and the remaining two closing on November 12 and November 16 respectively.
