Husband Accuses Wife of Being Patronizing
In a new clip, Marsau Scott describes feeling unheard by LaTisha Scott during a tense conversation about their marriage.

OWN will air the 200th episode of Love & Marriage: Huntsville on Saturday, Nov. 7.
A new clip from that episode shows Marsau Scott becoming emotional while discussing his marriage to LaTisha Scott.
The broadcast marks a milestone for the reality series, which has been on the air since 2019.
The episode, titled "Arionne Curry-On," features several cast members in various conflict scenarios.
Marsau tells his wife that he feels they talk at each other rather than listening.
He states, "I just feel like every time we talk, instead of listening, we just talking at each other trying to prove our point."
Marsau adds that he believes he has earned the right to be heard in their conversations.
He explains that although they share the same living space, they perceive events differently.
"We’re in the same room, but you see things totally different than I see," Marsau says.
He notes that words are his only method for expressing his perspective to her.
Marsau becomes frustrated when he feels LaTisha rejects his invitation to understand his worldview.
He says, "I’m not going to invite you in anymore. I’m not going to try to get you to understand my perspective anymore because you rejected it, you know?" LaTisha responds by suggesting he might end up alone in his world, but she does not appear to comfort him with this point. When she apologizes and uses the term "babe," Marsau objects to the tone. "Babe, that feels so patronizing," he says. He asks her to stop speaking, repeating the word "please" five times in quick succession. LaTisha admits she is struggling to find the right way to support him. "I don’t know how to be there for you," she says. The conversation ends with a reflection on their history together. "I think that in our life, I think in our love, I think we did the best we could," Marsau says. The show premiered in 2019 and has followed the personal and professional lives of its cast. The 200th episode airs at 8 p.m. ET and PT on Saturday, Nov. 7, on OWN. Other segments in the episode include Arionne Curry speaking with Martell Holt and his mother. Cast members also discuss the relationship between Martell Holt and Destiny Payton. Another character, Nell, faces a decision regarding her father's future.
