Jamie Foxx became a father for the third time with the birth of his child with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp. ABC News confirmed the news on Thursday, marking the first baby the actor has had with Huckstepp.

Foxx, who is 56, already has two children. He is the father of Corinne Foxx, whom he shares with ex-wife Connie Kline, and Anelise Bishop, whom he shares with ex-partner Kristin Grannis. The new arrival is Foxx's first child with Huckstepp.

The actor first disclosed the pregnancy during a September appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He told host Jimmy Kimmel, "I got a baby on the way .. still got it!" The conversation turned to aging and parenthood when Foxx discussed a chat with Al Pacino. Pacino welcomed his son Roman in 2023 at age 84. Foxx joked about returning to the school drop-off line and calculated his future age. He told Kimmel, "Look, just hang in there for 12 years. If I'm 58, 12 years I'll be 70."

The news arrives as Foxx returns to the stage. He released a new stand-up special titled Jamie Foxx: Take Care of Yourself in October. The project follows a serious health event in 2023 when he suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke. In a recent interview with ABC News correspondent Will Reeve, Foxx described the near-fatal experience. "Man, I almost died," he said. "I was almost outta here."

Foxx explained that his comedy stems from his personal struggles rather than a comfortable position. He stated, "Stand-up comedy doesn't come from an accomplished position. I have something to connect with people and say, 'Hey, man, I went through some stuff and I'm gonna tell it as funny as I can, but as real as I can.'"
