New England Patriots kicker Andy Borregales has a field goal conversion rate of 76.9 percent, a figure that ranks 22nd in the National Football League. The team is set to play the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, November 8, while the league trade deadline arrives on November 10.

Borregales missed a 40-yard field goal attempt in the second quarter of the recent game against the Miami Dolphins. That miss came in a contest that ended in a win for the Patriots. He has missed three field goal attempts and one extra-point attempt this season. All of his missed field goals were from inside 50 yards.

Quarterback Drake Maye led the offense to victory despite wet conditions. He threw a deep touchdown pass to Kyle Williams in the second half. Maye also ran for a touchdown on a fake pitch to Rhamondre Stevenson. The Patriots overcame a 10-point deficit to beat the Dolphins, who have one win this season.

Linebacker Christian Elliss and defensive tackle Cory Durden were recognized for their defensive efforts. Elliss recorded nine tackles and two for loss. Durden finished with 1.5 sacks and three quarterback hits in 26 snaps. Both players are 27 years old and will hit free agency after this season. They each received a game ball from head coach Mike Vrabel.

The Patriots also acquired left guard Walter Rouse via trade in late August. He started the game against the Dolphins but was benched in the second half for Ben Brown. Rouse was beaten for a sack on third down. Vrabel did not name a starting guard for the next game.

Wide receiver Mack Hollins is eligible to return to practice this week after being placed on injured reserve with a calf injury. His return would provide depth if wide receiver A.J. Brown, who has a knee and ankle injury, misses his second consecutive game. Tight end Hunter Henry left the Sunday game with a foot injury but was seen testing it on the sideline.

The team must decide whether to trade any players before November 10. Potential candidates for a trade include defensive tackle Christian Barmore, cornerback Carlton Davis, and running back TreVeyon Henderson. The front office has until the deadline to address team needs or stand pat as they did last year.
